Forza Horizon 6 Dev Issues Statement In Response To Fan Frustration
"We want you to know we hear your feedback". When Forza Horizon 6 came out earlier this year, we were amongst many people who thought it was another fantastic entry in the series, and personally I think it's my favourite of all time due to its amazing map of Japan. However, over the past month in particular, we've come across quite a few instances of fan fru…

007 First Light Quietly Adds 60FPS Mode For Xbox Series S, And Here's A First Look
A very stealthy move, Mr. Bond. In most cases, if a developer adds a 60FPS mode to any game on any console, they make a big song and dance about it. With 007 First Light though, a 60FPS mode has been very quietly pushed out to Xbox Series S in recent days. There was a reference about this in the patch notes for the big free DLC update last week, but it was w…

And now, Silver Pines appears to be chucking its hat into the ring. Forget Game of the Year, the…

Ubisoft Reportedly Set To Release Watch Dogs: Legion 'Director's Cut' In 2027
Will you give Legion a second chance? Watch Dogs: Legion was considered GTA in London but you could play as an old granny who at any moment could suffer a cardiac arrest and perma-die. The idea behind the game was really cool. The ability to strike up a chat with any Londoner in your path and enlist them into your gang of cyber-hackers sounded revolutionary,…

You might even be able to be there! This one is particularly notable, as not only is it where Xbox HQ is located, but it's also hap…

Five Months Later, Xbox Player Voice Feels Stuck Between Useful and Cluttered
It's getting harder than ever to make your voice heard. Five months ago, Xbox announced a new system called Xbox Player Voice that would serve as a feedback portal for Xbox fans, allowing people to share their requests and hopefully see some of them come to fruition over time. The portal immediately got inundated with requests for everything from the return…

Feature: Gears Of War: E-Day (Multiplayer) - Playing Horde Siege And Versus Makes Me Feel Like A Kid Again
It's the most fun I've had with the series since Gears of War 2. Last week, Gears of War: E-Day launched into Premium Advanced Access, giving me the chance to get hands-on with the final builds of Versus and Horde Siege modes. Up until that point, my review access was strictly limited to E-Day's phenomenal campaign. If you haven't already read my review, I s…

It was mentioned at the time that they would "begin consultation wit…

Lots Of New Games Are Charting Surprisingly High On Xbox To Begin October
A great start to life on Xbox for these releases. We always like to take an occasional look at the "Top Paid" Xbox charts to get a rough idea of how games are performing on the platform, particularly when it comes to new releases - and especially when they're unlikely hits. At the moment, we've noticed multiple new games that are charting surprisingly high o…

"You can't be successful at both.". There's been a whole lot going on in the world of Xbox over the past year, and we've seen what appears to be a transition from a publisher-focused mentality to a platform-focused mentality ever since Asha Sharma has taken the reigns as boss. For example, she's been putting a lot of emphasis on console compared to what we'v…

This is where the fun begins. One of the Xbox games that I've been most anticipating over the past few months is Star Wars: Galactic Racer - the first ever release from UK studio Fuse Games. All of the trailers and preview footage have made it look like a dream for fans of Star Wars Episode 1 Racer, and I'm certainly someone who falls into that category. So,…

Feature: We've Finally Played Xbox's New Fable Reboot, And Here's What We Think So Far
We went hands on at the recent Xbox FanFest. This year has actually been amazing for Xbox first-party releases, with all of Forza Horizon 6, Halo: Campaign Evolved and Gears of War: E-Day knocking it out of the park in my opinion, but there's one first-party game that I've been looking forward to in particular, and that's the Playground Games reboot of Fable…
